Fire destroyed more then 100 homes in Sunsari, Nepal

Property worth hundreds of thousands rupees was destroyed by fire at three different places in Susari district this afternoon. A fire that originated in Bhokraha-2 of the district spread to ward no 4 engulfing a total of 40 houses including two concrete houses. Four fire engines from Itahari, Dharan and Inaruwa as well as police personnel and locals have been making effort to douse the fire involving an area with dense settlement of Muslim community. Similarly, a fire at Ghuski-4 is still out of control, said police. Police personnel and locals have been making efforts to douse the fire but in vain due to strong winds blowing fire waves. Likewise, two houses were destroyed by fire at Narsink VDC-4. The locals, however, brought the fire under control, said police. RSS
